Adelaide
Project Summary
The existing cottage was retired to make way for this beautiful new home set over four levels.
The home offers two ground floor studios, separated by a private courtyard with rooftop garden above the rear studio. Two car parking spaces were also considered to form part of level one.
Bedrooms on level two form part of the lift, and ride up to the living spaces on level three. Uncompromised views from the kitchen dining area over the Adelaide Hills are simply spectacular. A picture window over the existing Adelaide depot brick chimney was captured beautifully by the architect.
In consideration of future running costs and the environment, the home is serviced by solar battery power in addition to large underground rainwater tanks beneath the garage.
A logistical challenge in this tight location, however a highly rewarding end product.
Client Testimonial
“Quigley Building did a superb job.
“The building process can be quite a stressful time for clients. With Sandy Quigley involved there was no stress. Promise. He kept us up to date on progress with pre-arranged meetings, and informed us of any potential issues along with possible solutions so we could discuss and deal with in a timely and appropriate manner to the benefit of the project. His team of trades were fantastic and reflected Sandy’s commitment to the project and level of communication.
“Well done Sandy and your team. Thank you.”
